Which academic work would you like to prepare today?
Every work type has its own flow. Stages, rules and assistants are prepared according to your choice.
Three core strengths
More than generating text: a guided academic process
Academic process management
A roadmap based on your work type, level and method. Every stage has its own assistant and rules. The project memory is preserved as you move between sections.
- Dynamic stage structure
- Section suggestions from your university guideline
- Progress tracking
Real scientific research
Simultaneous search across OpenAlex, Crossref, Semantic Scholar, PubMed, arXiv, DOAJ and other databases. DOI, PMID and arXiv identifiers are verified.
- Access level transparency
- Open-access full-text analysis
- Duplicate record merging
Academic writing automation
Citations are inserted not as plain text but as live elements linked to the source. When you change the style, the entire text and reference list switch to the new style.
- APA, MLA, Chicago, IEEE and 5 more styles
- Incomplete citation and consistency warnings
- DOCX and PDF output
How it works
Six steps, always under your control.
Choose a work type
Choose a thesis, article, review or research proposal. The platform builds a roadmap that meets academic standards.
Define your topic
The assistant analyses your topic, breaks down the concepts and creates a work plan with you.
Search the literature
Real databases are searched. You decide which sources to add to your library.
Develop the sections
Write, rewrite and expand each section. Every claim is linked to a source and every version is kept in the history.
Check quality
Citation consistency, incomplete citations, coherence across sections and academic language are checked.
Export
Download as Word, PDF, Markdown or TXT. Table of contents, numbering and reference list come ready.
Data sources
It uses what it can access and tells you how much it read.
Each source clearly shows its access level: citation only, abstract read or full text read. The AI does not interpret an article whose abstract is all it has seen as if it had read the full text. Sources that cannot be verified are not presented as definitive references.
Turkish sources: Turkish-language and Turkey-affiliated publications (including DergiPark journals) are searched automatically. TR Dizin and the YÖK Thesis Center can be searched for the same topic in one click, and you can easily add the thesis or article you find.
Academic integrity at the heart of the design.
No fabrication
No sources, data, statistics or findings are fabricated. Definitive claims that cannot be supported by a source are not written; sources are searched for missing topics.
Your data
The findings section is based on your own analysis. The data you upload are summarised with real computations.
Privacy
Your work is visible only to you. Row-level security, encrypted storage and one-click data deletion.
Plagiarism transparency
No plagiarism percentage is shown without a licensed service connected. No fake scores are produced.

Frequently asked questions
Clear, honest answers to the most common questions.
Does the AI make up sources that don’t exist?
No. This is the biggest problem with general-purpose chatbots, and Academiana blocks it at the system level. The assistant can cite only sources added to your project, which come from real databases; those with a DOI, PubMed or arXiv ID are verified against official records. A source that is not in your list cannot be cited.
It also does not write definitive claims it cannot support: it flags the topic and keeps searching for sources.
Will the AI write my whole thesis or article?
No, and that is deliberate. The assistant suggests section drafts, finds sources and improves your language, but you decide what goes into the text: no draft enters your document until you click “Add to document”, and the previous state is saved in the version history each time.
You are the author. Reading the drafts and developing them with your own thinking is necessary both for academic integrity and for answering questions in your defence.
